- We are very privileged to welcome international concert pianists Noriko Ogawa and Masayuki Tayama to our Academy as Visiting Professors.

- Eminent pedagogues such as Lucinda Mackworth-Young and Paul Harris visit our Academy for workshops and seminars for the professional development of local teachers.

- We develop our students' performance skills to practise for exams and competitions and offer a range of themed concerts i.e. Russian, French, Creatures, contemporary music.

- The Elmitt Academy Piano Club is specifically aimed at advanced adults and meets here at Edgeworth House every Monday morning. The club practises performing and discuss their playing, they rehearse concertos on two pianos and give concerts here and elsewhere.

- The Vivace choir meets at our premises every Wednesday evening and you can find out more about them by visiting their website vivacechoir.co.uk

- We are also a venue for Trinity and ABRSM exams and welcome visiting candidates on every instrument. We can offer an accompanying service for candidates taking these exams and for other local competitions, auditions and concerts.

- Our fabulous premises and facilities can be hired by local schools and teachers for exams or other events.

- The Academy hosts professional chamber music concerts given by Montagna Trio, Eagle 3 and many other professional musicians throughout the year. These concerts are open to the public and everyone is welcome.

- Our concert hall, seating appx. 70 with two grand pianos can be hired for concerts and competitions. Warm up and refreshment facilities are also available.
